Please join us at our relaxed, fun, informal monthly meetings. You can
find out more about the exciting plans for the pathway and help with
your suggestions and ideas. We meet the third Thursday of each month
from 7 - 8 p.m. at

JANUARY
Clinton River Watershed River Walk
Budd Park, Clinton Township
Come walk with members of the Clinton
River
Watershed
and the Clinton River Pathway Friends group on New Years' Day. Meet at
Budd Park on Romeo Plank and Clinton River Road in Clinton Township at
10am. Kids and (nice dogs) are welcome as we walk from Budd Park to
Canal Park along the Clinton River.

APRIL
Annual
Environmental Fair
Freedom Hill Park, Clinton Township
A unique event bringing together
over 20 organizations whose priority is preserving natural resources
in Macomb County. Booths are set up by each group so visitors can
learn more them. The fair is free, open to everyone and offers
refreshments, raffles and giveaways.

Annual
Kids Day America
39930 Garfield Road, Clinton Township
A fun free event with
food, prizes and giveaways. Appearances by "McGruff" the Crime Dog,
police, firemen, fire trucks, D.A.R.E. car, demonstrations and much
more. Come for a free spinal health screening and information about
child health, safety and environmental issues. Call 586-228-8840 for

AUGUST
Clinton
River Canoe & Kayak Trip
Budd Park, Clinton Township
This fun and relaxing
trip is open to everyone in the community. We leave from Budd Park and
follow the river as it winds around into Mt. Clemens. With a stop at
Mill Park for a short hike, we arrive approximately 5:00 at the YMCA. in
Mt. Clemens.
If you have never had the opportunity to take this trip - you will be
amazed at the beauty and wildlife in our community that can't be seen
from any road.

Bath
City Festival
Downtown Mt. Clemens
Enjoy the heritage of Mount Clemens in fun family
atmosphere. Plenty of local musical entertainment, children's
activities, antiques, crafts, food and many historical displays and
photos.
