FRIENDS OF THE CLINTON RIVER PATHWAY
Organization Job Descriptions
Our “friends” group is getting organized for 2005. 2004 saw bits and pieces of progress towards making the Clinton River Pathway a reality. We did, however, realize the ’04 objective of getting the Pathway formally “recognized” on the Macomb County Trails Master Plan. Congratulations and thanks to Eric Douglas for his persistence in getting this part of the overall job done.
As important as 2004 was, it’s a baby step on the journey. In order to accelerate the progress, we need to get several more people to commit some time and energy to 2005 activities. Specifically we need volunteers to fill the following positions for all of 2005. These positions will be best served by persons passionate about recreation and health; avid supporters of preserving green spaces along the Pathway route; have some spare time in 2005; and not need any additional income. (Note the frequent use of the word “volunteer”!)
